Laws regarding encouragement of information network use and information protection

Section 50 Article 2 (Prohibition of unauthorized collection of email addresses)

• Collection of email addresses through automatic email address collection software or any other technical methods without the consent from the manager or the administrator of such website is prohibited
• Any sales or distribution of email addresses collected by violating Paragraph 1 is prohibited.
• Any transmission of information through email addresses which are prohibited to sale or distribute according to Paragraph 1 and 2 is prohibited.

Section 74 (Penalty) Those applicable to Paragraph 1 of each Section shall be imposed a fine of 10,000,000 KRW or less.

• Display or sales in violation of Section 8 Paragraph 4.
• Distribution, sales, lease, or public display of obscene signs, wordings, sound, images, or videos in violation of Section 44 Paragrage 7-1-1.
• Distribution, sales, lease, or public display of signs, wordings, sound, images, or videos that causes fear or anxiety in violation of Section 44 Paragrage 7-1-3.
• Taking technical measures in violation of Section 50 Paragraph 6.
• Collection, sales, distribution of email addresses or using email addresses for information transmission in violation of Section 50 Paragraph 2.
• Transmission of advertising information in violation of Section 50 Paragraph 8
• Modification of registered subjects or not reporting transfer/merge/inheritance of business in violation of Section 53 Paragraph 4.
